About Us

We are three 30-something long time friends united by a crazy mission and a passion for fine fragrances. But, we are not perfumers, or serial entrepreneurs.

We have each worked in the corporate world for about 10 years in different parts of the world ranging from the US, UK, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Since we’ve lived most of our lives outside India, we constantly seek various ways to connect with home.

We are inspired by new age music, art and culture that is being pushed by talented Indian creators and world class brands. India is quickly redefining boundaries, and breaking stereotypes, and we couldn't resist being part of this movement through our own medium of expression - fine fragrances.

So, after some real family talk, we quit our jobs and got to building. We decided to find the best Indian perfumers and work with them to bring Rahasya to life.

Brand Ethos

Rahasya is an embodiment of the modern Indian identity. We want to show the diversity, vibrancy and potential of India as a nation, first through fine fragrance. We describe this embodiment in our brand as crafted chaos, much like the design of this page.

Our fragrances are meant to be relatable, yet unique in formulation. They are meant to be diverse in wearability, yet united by high quality Indian hero ingredients and emotional connection to home.

Along this journey, beyond fragrances, we hope to spotlight other creators or brands that are pushing boundaries in their fields while embracing their roots and identities.

Design Language

We used to think of design in binary terms; that is, brands would either be minimalist or maximalist; or either heritage, or modern. Very quickly however, we knew that this thinking was wrong. Luxury brands are usually minimalist leaning, yet modern India is as maximalist as you can get; chaotic, colorful and vibrant.

So, in our minds, it was clear, we needed a way to balance minimalism, maximalism, tradition and modernity through Rahasya. This balance, what we think can be called simple maximalism, best represents Rahasya’s brand identity and design language. In other words, crafted chaos yet again.

Our hope is to build a community of like minded people across different fields of life. We will aim to collaborate with other brands and individuals that are doing amazing work and offer best in class experiences for our community.
