Cutting Rain

Each year, as India's summer heat reaches its peak, there's a palpable sense of anticipation that builds in the air - a yearning for the arrival of the first monsoon rain. Beyond sustenance, these rains rejuvenate ecosystems and inspire cultural celebrations. For us, the monsoon rains represent fresh respite from the summer heat, new blossoms in verandahs and warm cups of chai with loved ones.

We used a blend of notes such as saffron, grapefruit, rose, marigold, sandalwood and tea to craft our artistic interpretation of the joy of monsoon rains.

When: Daily wear, Day/Evening Wear.

How: We recommend 4-6 sprays for maximum longevity and sillage. Spray on pulse points for best performance.

The Black Tea essential oil utilized in Cutting Rain is obtained through Supercritical Fluid Extraction, a process where oils are extracted at low temperature, allowing for CO₂ to be recycled through the whole process.

Cutting Rain also utlizes notes of Mysore Sandalwood, a rare fragrant wood native to India that is threatened by over-harvestation and climate change. To support its preservation and recreate its alluring aroma, we have utilized DREAMWOOD® in our fragrances. DREAMWOOD® is produced by white biotechnology through a fermentation process using sustainable and renewable feedstock of Mysore Sandalwood.

Additionally, this fragrance utilizes upcycled Cedarwood essential oil.
